PD Opportunities
We regret to announce that all Data Paths professional development opportunities that have been scheduled for summer 2025 are cancelled.
Unfortunately, starting July 1, 2025, the State of Massachusetts is placing an indefinite freeze on funding from Chapter 268 of the Acts of 2022 as the state legislature works to balance the Fiscal Year 2026 budget. The Data Paths project receives its funding from this budget source. Due to the timing of this freeze, we must cancel planned professional development workshops for the summer. We hope that the Data Paths project will have funding to resume after the freeze is lifted and to offer these workshops in the future.
Upcoming Teacher Professional Learning Opportunities
The Data Paths project is offering free PD opportunities to Massachusetts elementary, middle school, and high school teachers, coaches, specialists, and leaders.
The PD opportunities feature hands-on curriculum modules, instructional routines, and strategies for building students’ data literacy skills. You will try the activities yourselves and prepare to use them with students. Benefits include high-quality PD sessions, ready-to-use resources, PDPs, and stipends.
Webinars
“What’s Your Data Path?” Webinar Series: Exploring Data Science Across Professions

The webinars feature speakers from a variety of professions, such as epidemiology, oceanography, human resources, sports data, and business, sharing how they apply data science in their careers.
