PD Opportunities

Upcoming Teacher Professional Learning Opportunities

The Data Paths project is offering free PD opportunities to Massachusetts elementary, middle school, and high school teachers, coaches, specialists, and leaders.

The PD opportunities feature hands-on curriculum modules, instructional routines, and strategies for building students’ data literacy skills. You will try the activities yourselves and prepare to use them with students. Benefits include high-quality PD sessions, ready-to-use resources, PDPs, and stipends.

“What’s Your Data Path?” Webinar Series: Exploring Data Science Across Professions

Are you an educator or school counselor interested in learning why it is essential to facilitate students’ data science and mathematics learning and what students can do with the knowledge and skills they gain? The webinars feature speakers from a variety of professions, such as epidemiology, oceanography, human resources, sports data, and business, sharing how they apply data science in their careers. You will gain valuable insights into applications of data science skills and have access to video snippets about data careers to use with students.
